Upon this table I dine with my emotions;
Across from me, lust is sat, her tempting eye looking me over.
To my left, greed seeks to conspire with me, plotting away.
On my right, sorrow's abandoned shackles lie still, cold and grey.
Sorrow now runs free over this table, stealing all there is to give.
Loss sits upon the throne at the top of the table;
He preaches his ways to deaf ears.
Nothing is left, taken by Sorrow and Loss.
That is how they became the kings of my world.
