Storm

- 550 reads
Thunder, rain, crash and pouring
Seeking solace in earthen beds
Light glints off metal dangers
At which lightning roars past our heads
See the tears rolling down
Passed on by ethreal sorrow
and bear witness to anger
Which threatens tommorow
Hold your breath and close your eyes
Wait forever for the final time
In which the storm will pass overhead
and lies of the eye say all is fine
Return of the dark and ugly beast
Hidden behind the blinding lights
of heavenly descent and incineration
Winning the war we cannot fight
When the rain ceases to pour
and the lights cease to flash
the beast is forced down
and the thunder hits ground with an almighty crash
The war rumbles on until the sun strikes out
smashing the dark away to a far place
banishing the shadows from the land below
and restoring peace from the beast's face
