sitting on my laptop
hits the caps lock key
SORRY FOR SHOUTING

sitting by the sink
sticks his head under the tap
wants a nice cold drink

Tom cat Tom cat
jumps up on the table
swipes lots of pasta
and licks off all the tuna

Tom cat Tom cat
cuddled up on my lap
it's rather theraputic
to stroke you while you nap

Tom cat Tom cat
I love your kisses in the night
but I'm feeling rather tired
and wish you'd go to sleep !!

A simple and endearing poem - especially for cat owners. To be picky, I found the line 'swipes lots of pasta' a little clumsy rhythmically and 'swipes' is a word I thought was out of place. Otherwise, it's a refreshingly simple and unpretentious poem.
