What Is It? / While There's Time / Perfect Beast?

Do you love it or do you fear it,
The unknown force that breaks you,
Shakes you into tears or laughter or
Content, controlled meditation?
Is it God?
Is it your bloodlove?
Is it in the mind or the soul?
Is it the spirit of nature
What you feel?

Which side are you on? North-East-South-West?
Or do you like them all?
We Should really like them all.
We should really change the world.
But the prospect of peace seems so
Weak next to hate; revenge.
The circle of hate is too well formed,
Too deep and dark and strong in the veins of men.
Evil is a force as strong as gravity in this earth.
But while there's time, Theres hope.

Are we the perfect beast of nature?
Are we evolutions masterpiece?
As we conquer the world, devouring it
do we forget we were from the
same womb as the other beasts?
From the great creator-earth;
we have sprouted and won the war
so well that now we seem like
gods next to the other beasts:
As we reach For the stars
to conquer and devour more
earth and flesh willwe ever stop?
Are we the perfect beast?
Are we imperfect gods or
are we still prey-for the universe?
