1.
We ran through every last one
Fields of supernovas blossoming
In the cradle of soft January breath
Surfacing
Only to find ourselves floating
Upon the patchwork waves
Of a down and out's ocean.
2.
We found every last one
Disembodied
Crying in the arms
Of a fast ageing February.
3.
We sew our seeds
We watched them grow
Like a little army of sea children
Effortlessly meandering
In my depths
And yours
March on.
4.
And forever April and I sat on our plateu
Plotting high above sums of water
Whist our peeved reflections
Looked up above at us
Dangling our legs from the roof of the world
Jealous of our evergrowing heights.
5.
Majores
Aged, gnarled like a traffic accident
Maia May have selected a better page
For her Bona Dea.
6.
Starry eyed in a honeysuckle daze
The bull lost out
Yet is it ever fair
To go to war with twins?
(A confused June is seeing double,
something old,
something new,
something blue,
allbeit trouble.)
7.
The Dog Days of a Sultry July
by
Sirius Rötmånad
(I haven't forgot you yet,
I just miss you a little less.)
8.
We saw each other from afar
Over olives
Piereced by little wooden swords
Jesting on harbours
Augustus told me,
"Leave her,
she'll put a spanner in your works,
she'll mess you up,
she'll put pay to your chickens."
I
did
never
care for
Augustus.
9.
Five shots from a .22-calibre gun
A female choir from Mali
Sings for September
10.
We saw it coming
A fire in the sky
Caught up in October
A debt to let lie.
11.
No(Waking)--no(Up)
No(Next)--no(To)
No(You)--no(Was)--no(Like)
No(Being)--no(Five)--
No(Again)
12.
We are a little tired now
But it's not over is it?
Topaz auroras in far off nearby lands
Are playing scout leader for us
Decemdays
And one ever living tapestry of night away.
