Throbbing chest, throbbing past,
Screaming mess, screaming heart,
Aching lies, aching brain,
Crying eyes, crying pain,
Sorry wrists, sorry sharps,
Missing lists, missing laughs,
Eerie chills, eerie scars,
Counting pills, counting stars,
Attacking me, attacking you,
Nothing free, nothing new,
Invisible hurt, invisible skies,
Silent words, silent cries,
Broken glass, broken girl,
Useless mask, useless world,
Fighting temptation, fighting knives,
Numbed sensations, numbed goodbyes,
Maybe rope, maybe trees,
Dying hope, dying me.

wow
hello LucyKav.
that poem is breathtaking. the way its written is so effective. few words yet powerful enough to grab your attention.
this world needs the mental health stigma to be lifted. people need to know when to ask for help because suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. its ok to ask for help and that message that you have throughout your poem echos the fact that not enough people do ask for help.
well done on a stunning poem and an important message

This is a very painful poem.
This is a very painful poem. The repetition and rhyme works very well in this. Hope this pain has passed or was product of your imagination. :)
