On A Cold Night

I sit by the fire
watching the flames
twist and leap
as if they are walking
on hot coals.
I embrace the warmth
emanating from it,
which makes me forget
that the weather,
outside,
is cold and wet.

Short, simple, sweet.

Beautifully symetrical and so
Beautifully symetrical and so, so true. I sat in front of our fire and read this. Loved it.

It's raining only late
It's raining only late in the season it has been some years now, and then it comes down in buckets.I think it's climate change, lots of rainbows that's nice. Near Pretoria then.
