Contrast

We all know that the weevil
is a beetle that's thoroughly evil.
There cannot be any ifs or buts,
it is a destroyer of grain and nuts.

But creatures exist that are good
and beneficial in regard to food;
consider for instance a busy bee
who pollinates, we're glad to see,

to produce honey for us to eat;
a nutritious and delectable treat.
A by-product is also beeswax;
you'll find this insect is never lax.

Not everything is black or white;
if one is wrong, is the other right?
I have been told that it is a fact
that very often opposites attract.

It may be true or it could be false
one has virtue and the other faults.
I'll have to cut a long story short,
it's, more or less, what I've to report.
