Grandson. One Year On.

What a difference a year makes.
Our grandson is an active boy
from the moment he wakes.
To his parents this bundle of joy
is adorable and full of affection,
but he sparkles and he’s at his best
when he has grandpa’s attention.
The old man will make funny faces
and let him throw toys on the floor.
He’s begun to be steady on his pins
and trots to the kitchen to explore
the cupboards housing the crockery.
Who knows what he’ll think of next,
he’s bound to discover new trickery.
To chase after him is exhausting
and when time comes to go home
his grandpa will be glad of a rest.

He looks an absolute treasure in the photo.
A great tribute poem to a full of life little boy. I very much enjoyed reading.

How did I miss this one, Luigi?
Such a little treasure! He certainly has a look of his granddad about him
Gosh, I could really identify with so much of this...those days are gone, though, for me, more's the pity...so cherish them, Luigi, but you don't need me to tell you that.
