Sometimes we look up to someone

who has achieved much success

whose name has been frequently

mentioned in the national press.

We think of him as a moral man

only to discover, often too late,

he was an opportunistic predator,

an inherently corrupt degenerate;

a despicable debauched creature,

a venomous reptile, a slimy lizard,

acting like the incubus, rumoured

to have fathered Merlin the wizard.

Once thought to be part of a myth,

it has now become a real nightmare:

this demon assumed human forms

in pursuit of maidens to ensnare.
