New Year's Resolution

To publish a book
was my resolution
and to do it myself
the only solution.
I was in no hurry
to get an agent,
to get into print
was more urgent.
I soon hit a snag
about the script;
the problem was
it wasn't yet writ.
I did not panic
and employed AI
to ensure I wasn't
left high and dry.
The artificial text
has gone to press,
we'll have to see
if it'll be a success.
Though we finally
managed to publish
marketing is a task
we have to finish.

No need for a man of your talent to employ AI, Luigi. Congrats again on your recent publication and that's an impressive back catalogue of work you have built up with your poetry collections.
Happy New Year to you. Paul

Well, Luigi, you will be in the company of our erstwhile p.m. Boris, who has had that big advance for his book that he can't write, but yours would so much better, being your own work. Happy New Year to you

He might believe in 'Spirits'
From what I have read he received some years ago a whopping advance for a tome on Shakespeare, after which he was canvassing academics for material but none have so far obliged. And while others may imply that he consults spirits to guide his pen I would dismiss that as a base calumny
