I remember that Cassius Clay,
whose punches stung like a bee,
changed his name to Muhammad Ali.
I was curious, wished to know more
and was told it happened
on February 25, 1964.
I can also recollect the day
Frank Sinatra, called Ol' Blue Eyes,
had a hit with the song “My Way”.
Though I didn't know the exact date
of the recording, I've found out
it was December 30, 1968.
It's amazing how long memories last;
I can easily reminisce about things
that have impressed me in the past
or were milestones in my life;
leaving home to stand on my feet,
my first job or meeting my wife.
Facts are not difficult to memorize
but when it comes to chronology
it's not always possible to be precise.
So when we are unable to elaborate
we'll have to do the best that we can
and provide a reasonable estimate.

Very true, Luigi. And isn't
Very true, Luigi. And isn't it strange when you're convinced that something happened at a particular time, and then you check it and it was some years before or after that? Or is that just me...

I know how it feels Luigi
I know how it feels Luigi I always have trouble working out my age, it's either 66 or 67? The problem is the fencepost error you know, Which is which? At least I remember my birth day.
Keep well and keep the stories rolling! Cheers! Tom
