Rosie

In cockney, the name Rosie Lee
is rhyming slang for tea
but to me it means much more.
She was a passionate wild gypsy
whom I met on a foreign shore
and who, like an intoxicating liquor,
made me feel inebriated and tipsy.
Her eyes were a deep cobalt blue.
and her hair the colour of ripe corn.
As her scarlet lips searched mine,
I blessed the day that I was born.
We slept in a varicoloured caravan
and had two idyllic romantic weeks,
loving each other with tenderness,
cuddling and kissing her rosy cheeks.
Tickled pink to have found someone
to go back with to my home town
it never occurred to me that Rosie
would be unwilling to settle down.
It was truly a red-letter day
when she accepted to be my wife.
We are happy to be still together
as now I share her nomadic life.

Love It*
I'm a true believer in true love & the power thereof.... I'm sent this to my wife... -(really like this one Luigi)-
At one time I used be a nomad, and brag I stole the princess from a village....(my wife)...
Only years later to figure out I had been captured..... I'm good with that*
Cherries well deserved*
Love the art work* (really sets the tone)

She loved it Luigi*......
Made her smile, a bit of a laugh, I got a kiss, & then I made dinner & then we reminisced about how we met..... went through the flash backs, she called me a nomad <again> & even a pirate in those days..... Hand Up, I can take it*
(totally made sense to her & set the tone for the evening & shes not a native English speaker)
Call it fate, a bit of luck, or what ever = Holidays, melancholy, *(you wrote it)*, I saw it, in right place at the right time, here@ABC.... + some good wine, good home cooked food,... Hand over heart*....a piece of your works- rippled- over to us... .. Or look at this way, you created a flash back over 2 bottles of wine, allot of laughs & smiles....
And I didn't have to wash dishes... (double Thx;)
That's also sending peace, love, respect & best wishes for the Holidays- from here to there.... hope your eye is better... I'll lite candle for you.....
Slaute*
