Two young lovers
From tides away
Are separated
by mother.
How Romeo and Juliet.
How cliche.
The seas are cold and harsh,
Mother is old and harsh.
And now those beads of love,
Find they're running out of ways.
She forces the two to cope.
Can my Romeo and Juliet survive this time?
I am told of Juliet's obstacle.
But All's Fair in Love and War, my dear
I wish her to rebel, to step out of
We have before discussed
Her unrelenting need to commit.
But now is her time.
I see her rebel and rejoyce.
There Are No Obstacles In Love.
Here's to BundesRomeo,
Here's to your collegue in poetry,
May all obstacles be defeated
by a lover from tides away.
