the red room

Revel in the red room. Hot spinning light circles
and spice dripping windows. Feet so sweet on
sandwich blankets. Smokes like rope around my
throat. Carpet walls and asylum lights. Words and
weed and ash in persian bowls.
Candlesticks and risky flames.
More than to wish im trapped or I love you. Less
than to leave the world on fire just to break our
curfew. Pay my debts or do my job. Dressing gowns on
park benches and running in glass rivers for a sip of
vodka.
Tight christmas lights around my waist. Red
lampshade sex and words and words and don’t
leave the room. Right light right time, right place
right mind. Blackscreen furnace and hard drives
blown. Indoor ivy and pudding on fire.
Rip down blinds on bricked up windows. Where’s
the door, come here I want you. Want your thick
sweat, your chesty cold. Want your hardline talk
and barcode coke. Heads on trees and veins on
branches. Hold me here and stir your sulphur.
Spiders and bank notes and marmite drudgery.
Words and rhymes and phrases like mine.
You want me. So hunt me.
Honey boys send me flowers at work.
So shoot me up and fuck me properly.
