the geoffrey slide

The monkeys were at it again, causing mischief in the paddock. Poor geoffrey was trying to keep the monkeys quiet, Geraldine was napping and she was in no mood for their monkeying around.
"Can't you be quiet" said Geoffrey, "Geraldines asleep" he said
"Are you gonna stop us" said mucker the head monkey "you'll have to catch us first" he said "Catch us if you can" he shouts as he starts darting around the paddock with geoffrey trying desperately to catch him but geoffrey loses his footing and ends up sprawls across the paddock with his head and his neck on the floor, "hey look at me" squeals mucker all the monkeys stop and look, and soon they too were sliding right down geoffreys neck.
"Hey come and look at the monkeys" said a child visiting the zoo, everyone gathered round "the monkeys are using that giraffe like a slide" they shout. robert came to see what was going on "oh look" said robert "Its the goeffrey slide" he said laughing. "come on you monkeys, leave geoffrey alone now, he has to have his tea" said robert " Oh robert " wailed the monkeys "its not fair we were just starting to enjoy ourselves" they all said "Leave me alone now, my neck hurts". said Geoffrey "oh come on geffers" squealed mucker "just one more go" Robert had bought some bananas and the monkeys attention soon moved to them. Geoffrey got to his feet and started to make his way back to the house, "geffers, stupid monkey " he muttered "ITS GEOFFREY" he shouts
The following morning geoffrey didn't want to go out into the paddock, he was afraid those pesky monkeys would use him as a slide again "come on geoffrey," said robert who had arrived to let them out. "come and see what i have got" said robert Geoffrey put his head around the door and took a peek "hey its another giraffe"said geoffrey crossly "no geoffrey look its a geoffrey slide for the monkeys " said robert
Geoffrey laughed he was happy now the monkeys would n't use him for a slide anymore.
