Its a Ghost

There was building work going on at the zoo, there were some new animals arriving and everyone was excited. the new building was right next to the giraffe house and geraldine was getting rather annoyed.
"Geoffrey go and tell them to be quiet, they are giving me such a headache" said geraldine Geoffrey strolled out into the paddock and ambled over to the fence where the workman were he wanted to see what was happening.
"Hello there" said matt one of the workers to Geoffrey patting him on the head. The men had started to pack up for lunch Matt placed a bucket by the side of the enclosure, not realising that Geoffrey was a nosey giraffe "Oh" thought geoffrey "Whats in that bucket" Geoffrey put his head inside to see what was in the bottom, hoping it was something to eat "oh its dark in here" said geoffrey he pulled his head up, but the bucket got stuck on his head "ooh whats this " said geoffrey he could feel something cold running down his neck and he didn't like it one bit , the liquid had made the bucket loose, and geoffrey put his head down the bucket fell off his head "uck that was horrid" thought Geoffrey as he made his way back to the giraffe house and Geraldine

Robert was cleaning out the giraffe house when geoffrey returned, AAAAAAHHHHHH"screamed Geraldine, "Its a ghost" she wailed. Robert turned round andsaw Geoffrey covered in a white liquid "Oh Geoffrey" said Robert getting out the hosepipe and turning on "we'll soon get that off you old fellow" he said
Meanwhile back outside matt and the others had returned to work, Matt wondered where the bucket with the whitewash had gone, he was quite puzzled. Later Matt saw Robert and asked where Geoffrey was " Geoffrey is sulking, he got covered in white paint and had to be hosed down" said Robert, "Oh so thats where my whitewash went" laughed Matt, "that will teach me to leave things in reach of a giraffe" he said "can i go and see him, say sorry " said Matt "that would be nice" said Robert, Take him some of those branches if you like,there his favourites" Matt went over to the tree, and cut down some of the branches, then made his way to the giraffe house to find geoffrey he found him sulking in the corner of the house, "Geoffrey i have bought you these" said Matt, "I'm sorry i got you wet" he said holding out the branches "Thankyou" said geoffrey "Are you sharing those" said Geraldine . Matt left the two giraffes with their branches and made his way outside hoping to see geoffrey again tomorrow
