Z: The Fallen Angel

The Angel stood amongst hell's demons,
Waiting to be judged.
A stench was strong of ashes and blood.
Alone the Angel swayed.
An evil creature spoke to him,
"walk this way."
The Angels wings were black and crisping,
From the scorching flames and the harsh whispering.
The Angels feet crushed skulls and bones,
Lining a path to the Devils throne.
The Angels body quaked with fear,
The demons and the Devil evilly cheered.
Satan said to this fallen Angel
"I would destroy you, but I am unable.
You are here to be judged."
"A fallen Angel I may be,
But I still have my dignity."
The Angel replied.
"To heaven your access was denied,
Here you are exposed, unable to hide.
What dignity to you have?"
"None that you would understand,
I have a heart therefore I can love"
"You left your heart with your halo,
Do not speak of love only of sorrow."
The Angel began to sob.
Nothing he could do.
"Without that love, I am as worthless as you."
This fallen Angel brave as he was,
Broke down into flowing sobs.
The fallen Angel had hit the ground.
To hell he would stay, eternally bound.
