Green
I feel
Green
Not the green of courgettes and grass
Of caterpillars
And emeralds
I feel on my skin 
The green of pond scum
And cartoon villains
Fuzzy growth of minute fungi
Typically occurring in warm and moist condition
My best attempts at peeling off
This sticky coat
Inedible, unfit to fertilise
The sturdiest crops 
End with skin raw and
Red
Torrents of questions
Waterfalls of doubt
Flow 
Transparent
Turn into
Ponds
That breeds
More scum
Green
But wait!—a ping
Someone has liked
My post
Perhaps they’ll check
My blog
The mossy coat
Retreates
My skin can breathe
At last—Oh
Oh…
It was a bot
Guess I’ll just
Choose to
Turn into
Green 
Moss
