Dereham Has Discovered Carlott!

Yesterday I went out to visit my family in Dereham - where I was quickly enveloped in family stuff, such as clearing out toys etc, and being sent out to collect a reserved item from Argos.
It was fun. I galloped into charity toys carrying bags of donations. Tapped on one back door into the inner sanctum and said loudly 'Knock, Knock!'
And got the wrong reply.... I ask you... Who doesn't know the right reply is always - "Who's there?"
Guess what, either the Romanies or the McDonalds had had a great idea... N.B. I say this because both tribes play follow the leader beautifully. They had taken to the Carlett walking trolley in force... There was a whole tribe consignment walking around the town... I'd never seen so many. So many happy faces!
The Carlett trolley is one that bridges the gap between a normal shopping trolley and a walking frame. It sports a park brake, and has a seat which when tired, the walker can sit on. It's very functional, and also very designed.
I personally like the design, for its functional uses, and was thinking of obtaining one. However when it came to the crunch, I decided that the money had to go elsewhere and went for a cheaper, more ordinary model.
Comments from the locals users range from -
"Well aren't you green with envy?"
"Well it's more normal than a rollinator!"
"Its not got enough storage space for a family shop!"
"What the f-fing hell, am I doing with this thing?"
"I like it!"
However they feel - I applaud the people of Dereham for their group action on this designer buy. Nice one!
