The World died the day love was banned!

Love banned the World the day it died.
The tomb opens:

Love emerges; from the darkness of Death.
"The world ended on a word," Cupid spat out.
A small figure of rage with an empty arrowbag.

"Speak gently," said a quiet voice, "Make love,
not war." Cupid bored, lounges away.
"Not that again," he mutteres, "Such a waste!"
