It was the perfect October night, with the moon clear as a round of cheese rising over the dark high street, where i scurried past the deserted side of ye olde mill, on the other side of the road. As I passed the difficult bit, where brambles were growing - a noise of earth moving aside hit my eardrums.
I turned and faced the horror firmly, "Don't come out will you? I might scream tonight!"
"Alright then," came the psychic answer, "Don't worry I'll wait until you've passed...."
I hadn't been to work for days, too ill, now I wondered if it was too early to go out. Inside the radio shack people had been working the rounds, calling out their wares in reasonable voices, saying less than palatable things about other people, and only just avoiding scandle.
Sometims I wonder if all of this is a dream, it's gone a bit matrix, if it isn't how sure can I be that the right people are found for it? How can I live with the consequences? Last time I only just survived. that was all wrong. Not happy... not happy. I'm at the garden of Gethsemene.
