My Part in the Holocaust.
It’s hard to explain the past,
to people who don’t know where I came from.
From the castle in Austria, and the long walk.
From the war’s beginnings, and the endless sufferings
of the people collected for the gas chambers.
To recall the Hitler family sail in, sat in cars
who wore white gloves, and shot smart pistols
at the slowly shifting people, who were the targets
for hate. They laughed, as children do…
when the bricks fall down.
The Human Rights court gave me full human rights,
in a copyright case, in which I was targeted by those
who would steal words, after the war.
They hoped to shoot me down. They were exiled
out there, and then they came back a few years ago.
Now they shoot their words —
with fake survivors, and their hatred multiplies.
In every part of the world, people forget.
or forget to care. I am not asking for money,
I ask you to remember…
that this world came out of that one.
It’s up to you how this world is later on.
