Millenium Man

The Son of God, the maker of the dawn,
Became a man and on the earth was born,
Took on human form.
In Galilee you healed the blind and lame,
Took the cripples and made them walk again,
Took away their pain.
You must be Millennium Man,
Healing the sick, doing the good that you can,
Millennium Man.
The priests all hated you and wanted you dead
Because they didn't like the things that you said,
The good things that you said.
Up on the cross, turned inside out,
Rose from the dead, of that I have no doubt,
No never a doubt.
You must be Millennium Man,
Dying for our sins like only you can,
Millennium Man.
People often wonder what it was for,
Satan destroyed you but you opened the door
To life for evermore.
In Heaven seated by God on high,
We know we'll be there with you when we die,
Reign with you in the sky.
You must be Millennium Man,
Ruling the universe like only you can,
Millennium Man.
