Learn to Remember

My dream was insane and full of dire symbols.
My dream was about her again, the warrior poet. She was there standing heroically atop a red cadillac with a golden megaphone very close to her mouth. She spewed the most extraordinary things, her voice electrical and defiant. Her eyes were a lion's and her arms were like white snakes striking the air.
People were around her in absolute admiration, like beggar children surrounding their beautiful queen.
"All of you people spend your lives trying to forget, instead of learning how to remember." She said in a violent growl to the crowd surrounding her.
Blazing fire through her mouth, this goddess made me feel a strange sense of universal meaning when she spoke old and forgotten words full of secrets. She made me feel everything was a chaotic accident that could make great sense.
She then looked directly at me and said in the voice of a crow:
"Save your noose no longer, you won't like what I'm about to hang."
I felt afraid and woke up sweating. I felt as if she was going to kill me again.
