Dimensional Pain

Bring me a binder,

She says when moments let her surface

2d or 3d? Asks the woman with dimples but thin lips. 

Can pain be dimensional? She whispers

Thin lips get thinner

Colour?

Something fearless, whispers the heart

Dimples dissolve into a rich brown

For the first time she realizes 

they can disappear

The green numbers 

on the clock

begin to look

The woman at the desk 

begin  to wane

The rain on the ground

begins to dry

She thinks about touching it

And then there is a new woman

One with perfect lips 

and flat cheeks.
