You are my dignity my hope
You are my deep hearts longing,
With you I’d wish now to elope
And never return one waxwings
-Stroke of my soul to the air!
You are my dream my prayer!
You are my journey homeward…
In this wilderness entangled threadbare.
And with you I am truly anchored
-Daily beyond the waves—despairs.
You are my love my temple
And to you I am truly thankful.
And with you I’ll grow and grow…
O evergreen; ever joyful in this grotto.
Like a nightingale hymnal, temporal.
I’ll sing however long you are mine
And I am yours…
