There are whispers that cry
In gasping breath
In quiet chambers
Not for from here
Have you heard them?
There are angry mobs
shooting arrows in silent wars
In desperate days
Not far from here
Have you heard them
There are hungry mouths
picking through bins
Loosing dignity
Not far from here
Have you seen them ?
There are those that hear ! there are those that see!
Then there are those that blame the desolate
With no understanding that its a cycle
Without a sigh they go on blamin
Forgetting that they are lady lucks chosen ones.

I thought that it was a good
I thought that it was a good piece picking up on the fractured society that we live in and a celebration of those people who rise above it & try to help others

Yes, it raises some good
Yes, it raises some good points. I should edit the 'for' into far as it's the first instance and so baffles a bit.
It is quite possible that it is simply a cycle, another turn of the Wheel.
Personally, I think it is more than that but who can be sure?
Having seen people sitting in the mud begging with their eyes for enough to help them survive one more day I can only wish more people had seen them too...
then these that cry poverty as they throw their half-empty wine bottle through the nearest window might realise that indeed they are Lady Luck's chosen!
