Amazing!

Some things that amaze me. I am still amazed when I see adults on a bike with no helmet.

I am still amaze when I see kids on the road on a motorised scooter at night with no light at the front or the back.

I am still amazed that drivers stop on the yellow painted grids, even though the fire engine would have the right of way to run them over for been on it and in their way!

But a lovely sweet thing in nature that still amazes me, is now the leaves are not on the trees, to see high up, where even cats can’t reach is the beautiful birds’ nests!

Hi Maxine, I know what you mean about the birds nests up in the naked trees. We have a couple in our garden trees and I often wonder what type of birds made them.

Nature is to be marvelled at isn't it?

Yes I think they are Fab to have them SO high up and it is perfect when all the leaves hide them so well. It is only then all the leaves are gone can we then see that they are there. It is so good that cats can't get up so high.

Recently I past my kids old school and over hanging onto the path was a tree with the lowest birds nest I have ever seen, it seemed quite large but that may have been because it was so low above my head, if I had a stick I would have been able to poke it. I do hope that no one else sees it, of the nest will be attacked and the birds too if they are inside.
