We have a puppy called Celtic. She is boisterous, healthy, and happy, everything a puppy should be and more.
Over the year that we have had her, we have bought her various strong toys to keep her entertained when she is on her own.
It soon became very clear, that she is not the average dog. Most of the time, the toy was destroyed in one day.
The toys that I had bought from TKMaxx, were useless! Some I would take back the next day in tatters. Others were SO badly damaged it would have been wrong to take them back. I even bought a massive, roped tug tie, Celtic ate SO much of it, it would have been embarrassing to take it back.
There were two major success and both, were bought by Meghan. Both toys cost £2 each and were bought at different times. Celtic loved them, it was like they were indestructible.
Then after many months, one was destroyed! On the same day, I went to TKMaxx, this week and bought two very strong looking hard toys. I said, to the Sales assistant, “If my husband doesn’t approve of these toys, can I bring them back?” She replied, “Yes.”
I bought them. I showed them to Paul, the one he disapproved of straight away, the Bam-bones. It was made with bamboo fibre, a sustainable, renewable, natural resource. Durable, long and flavoured to satisfy your dog’s natural instinct to chew. That was £6.
The one Paul chose, “Giggle Bone, shake to make me giggle,” It states, “Mentally stimulating and durable toy, keeps your pet engaged and active.” That was £5, I was SO excited to give it to Celtic, that I could not wait until the morning, I gave it to her at 1am about an hour before I went to bed.
Twenty minutes later, she was, eating it!! I had to remove it. I won’t be taking that one back to TKMaxx.
We went to a huge pet shop, that we had not been to before and they had a wide range of pet dog toys. Some were £15 nylon bone I would have got that for Celtic but Paul chose Tasty Bone for large dog’s peanut butter flavour. It was £10.
I was just as excited to give it to Celtic, as she was to receive it.
Celtic loves her new nylon bone; she has met her match! :0)
