Curriculum Vitae. Part Two.

l have got some Very confused cats and dogs this morning. The light had not long gone off this morning, late. For me all the hype was yesterday as I got into the fight fever. There was to be a boxing match at 4am U.K. time. No way, would I have stayed up for it, my husband and son, they were going to watch it live on Netflex. In the olden days, I would have been just getting up and going downstairs, but not now that I am in my 60s.

Mike Tyson age 58 was going to fight a man I had not heard of Jake Paul age just 27. As far as I know only his followers have heard of him, until this week. In history in my life time, it has been sad when a champion comes out of retirement and fights again, due to lack of funds. It is worse if the former champion then loses.

We all know he is Iron Mike Tyson! He has got a lot of anger, and he has channelled it into his sport. So, yesterday leading up to the match that ended this morning, I was reading the comments on a site on social media.

Here are some of the comments:-

"One is a beast of professional boxing and the other is a YouTube dude who has boxing gloves." 

"Don't blink or you will miss the whole fight."

"Surely Jake Paul will get banged out, I like the guy sort of, in small doses obviously. But Mike Tyson is bloody Tyson, arguably the hardest most feared boxer this century. I don't care how much online confidence he has, when he steps in the ring and looks across at basically everything he's ever seen in his worst nightmares, those knees will start trembling like a mouse caught in a trap. Good luck."

"The problem child huh..... yep gonna have problems with his rib cage, lungs, eye sockets, teeth and possibly a piece of ear missing. Yep he's gonna be for a real problem child after this one lol.  May need to apply for SSI after this."

"I don't know what Jake Paul is thinking. If he wins, he beating up an old guy, if he loses, he got beat up by an old guy. Doesn't seem like much of a win either way."

Any my personal favourite,

"I hope Tyson sticks that 14oz glove right into that big mouth of Jake. I talked to boxers that said they have never been hit so hard as Tyson hits. They were just sparring partners, but still know a punch."

It was on the main news last night, that Tyson was set to make 20 million dollars and Jake 40 million dollars!

I went to bed about 02.20am, that is not late for me, and wishing Mike well. I really wanted him to win, one last time! We all wanted a knockout!

I woke up 04.05am and thought, should I get up to watch it? I thought no, go back to sleep, for it is not worth getting up for 5 minutes, as I won't be able to get back to sleep, for I would then be wide awake! 

At 06.20am Paul came into the bedroom, I woke up, as at time time, I am a light sleeper, I asked, "Did Mike win?" Paul said, "No, Jake did." I said, "Oh I am sad to hear that." I said, "How many rounds did they go?" He replied, "Eight." I asked, "Did any of them fall to the floor?" Paul said, "No." Paul said, "It didn't start at 04.00, as there was a women's boxing match before it, it started after 05.00." I said, "There is going to be a lot of tired people this morning!" Paul said, "He has said, horrilbe things about Tyson's dead child," I said, "That's aweful." He added, "He is now bragging that he wants to fight Tyson Fury next!" Finally Paul said, "I hope his next fight is with Anthony Joshua, for that will be the only time I would be routing for Joshua!" That made me smile. I said, "They both gonna hurt tomorrow."

I laid there a moment longer, thinking, can I do a Paul, and go back to sleep? Heck no, I was wide awake, so decided to get up and write about it. Paul had said, "The dogs have just gone out," I said, "OK." 

I came down and put the light on, Nanny followed me to the kitchen where I put the kettle on to make a cuppa. As I has settled down to writing, Johathan the cat was heaving to be sick, I didn't want him to, be sick in the house, so I picked him up to put him outside, but some came out! I was then sick cleaning up his sick, becuase I had drank some of my nice tea.

My son just told me, on our family group chat, "I fell asleep in bed, who won?" I told him, "Jake," He said, "No way." Then Meghan who is way said, "I went back to the hotel and fell asleep there." So, both of them misssed it.

Meghan sent us some comments from social media, this is some of them:-

"Sh*t was free, and I still feel scammed." 

"Congratulations for professionally beating up a cenior citizen."

"In shape boxer beats up on health issue ridden, senior citizen".

 And my personal favourite,

"Who's he fighting next, ............?"  I won't say his name, incase.
