Doodle.

Yesterday, I had an important phone call to make, I always have pen and paper with me ready, so that I miss nothing. I have the date, and the person’s name, if it is a name that I don’t know the spelling I will ask, “Please can you spell that slowly.” If at the end of the phone call and they have been helpful and nice, I will ask for their name and inform them, “I will give you good feedback.”

During the phone call, I will write down everything of importance to me, prices, addresses, dates, names, and more.

I noticed yesterday, while I was waiting for them to answer the phone, and I am listening to their music or tune, I found myself doodling.

I thought, I am wasting ink, but it seems a must. It seems a normal and natural thing to do. Some doodle that I have done over the years, when the phone call is finished, I can see it is beautiful and creative.

I wonder if doodling is a western thing when we are on the phone? I thought yesterday, when is the first recorded, doodle? What was it called before; it was called doodling? I am sure in the back of my mind, there is a book of doodling, collecting from many others.

I always keep the paper that I have written on with all the information, in a safe place, with all my other documents.
