Fly Papers.

As a young child, I don’t remember seeing fly papers. But with more flies around back then, I suppose they must have had them, and that they were high up and kids don’t have time to look up at the ceiling.
Many years ago, we started using them. They are fantastic. I think it was last year, there were SO many on the one that we put it, it was buzzing! Thankfully Paul put them out of their misery. Before he did, that, I thought, it was an awful way to die. I did feel sorry for them, even though I don’t like them.
Just when I thought things could not get any worse, Paul told me about, sticky papers that catch rats! He is such a knowledgeable man, just when I think I have heard it all, he comes out with further knowledge.
I was shocked at such a contraption. I had never heard of such a gadget. When I was young it was common to see a dead mouse on the mouse trap in the mornings.
We have six cats, so they bring mice, voles and sadly birds, and leave them on the back door step. The latest bird is a black bird.
Going back to the rat glue traps, I Googled it, and sure enough, they exist. I also read that, “It is an awful way for them to die, it can take days.” I read that, “From last month, only professional pest controllers, with a licence can use them, otherwise it is against the law.”
