FOREVER.

When a very famous lady died recently, lots of people said, “They are now together, again forever,” Talking of her and her late husband. All my life I have thought that was a strange thing to think or say.

Then I thought of my friend in my last story, ‘Beautiful.’ When they both die, will people who do not know the truth about their relationship, say the same thing of them?

For who decides, that they will be together forever? Is it the friends and family? And just because they wish it, will it happen?

Or is it just a nice sentiment, to make the loss, less painful? For in the future, I really hope, he is not with my friend forever!
