HUH?

Just when I think I have heard it all, something else comes along and really surprises me.
My friend went to the hospital on Saturday, for something intermate.
She was shocked and surprised to see with the Doctor an Interpreter with him.
He did not know one word of English!
I wondered; how did he get the job? He must be the Best Specialist in his field, for them to grab him with both hands, over a doctor who can speak English.
Interpreters, rightly so, get paid a lot of money, especially in the specialist field of Courts, Police and Hospitals.
I know people use Interpreters, in hospital, but I have never heard of a doctor using one.
Maybe it would be cheaper to give him free English lessons?
I am still trying to learn Italian, on my mobile phone with Duo Lingo. It is not easy, but like I told my Italian friend, “I can READ over 100 words in Italian, but I can’t speak it, nor can I speak it properly in a sentence.” I will persevere, as I love the language. I know it would be easier at a college, face to face with a Tutor, but that would be mega bucks.
Duo Lingo is free. Meghan has done very well with it, in German, because she did German at school.
