Innocent. Part One.

Someone I know went to three different shops and took out a phone contract in each shop, for two years on each. She then with the three phones, sold them to those shops that take items, that give you money, or ‘peanuts’ for it, and then they sell it for a profit, as those sorts of shops never make a loss. The only person who makes a loss, is the person, who is genuinely in hardship.
This woman is shrewd, she is one of the shrewdest people I have ever met! That is all I will say about her. I would like to say a lot more!!
She was glad to make the money on these new mobile phones. Then the letters arrived. The mobile companies wanted their first monthly payments, then the second letter arrived, then the third letter shocked me, for it said, “As you have not paid, your phone will now be restricted, you can only make 999 calls.”
Heck, does she care? No, she never seems to lose. I feel sorry for the innocent person who bought the new phones thinking they were bagging a bargain! It might even be for a Christmas present. So, it might be about to be wrapped up and put under the Christmas tree. A gift, that was bought with love, will on Christmas Day, leave a bitter taste.
I genuinely do feel sorry for the people, who has bought those mobile phones in good faith. I do not feel sorry for the greedy shop, who has sold it on, at a higher price that what it was sold to them for.
The mobile companies do have an address. The owners of now a useless mobile phone, will have to go back to the shop, IF they are near enough, to the store, but they could be hundreds of miles away.
Would the greedy, shop owner care? Would they bother to contact the shrewd woman? I wonder if they even have her address! Has this happened before? I assume yes, as there is nothing new under the sun.
I am cross, annoyed at the woman. I see her as a thief, for in a round about way, she stole those phones, then sold them on. She got something for nothing! While the innocent, have been made to look foolish.
In my ‘dreams’ I hope she goes to jail for it, but for something SO ‘small’ I sadly doubt it.
If I did that, I would be sent to hell and back, and my credit score ruined. Her credit score, cannot be ruined, trust me.
Some people are so clever, that if they were to put their minds to do good, the world would be a better place.
