She Has a Good Point.

Many years ago, a millionaire went into a hot air balloon, to try to go around the world, he did not make it.

The Titanic, the story of it has fascinated us for decades. Recently I read of a cat that had taken her kittens off the ship before it went on its last voyage, there is a painting of them.

There is a tourist submarine, that takes five people to go near the Titanic. It cost from $250,000 for the eight-day tour.

Now if I was rich, with the history of the Titanic, I would not want to go down there. Period.

I was talking about this to my daughter Meghan, this morning, I told her “I would go to Malta for a year, or somewhere hot.”  Meghan said, “That is different if you became rich overnight. But if you have always been rich, or have been rich for a long time, you would want to spend your money on different things, that would bring excitement.” She had a good point.

We talked about, the men deep in the water now, ‘lost at sea’ and how they would be feeling. Meghan had looked it up, and said all five are locked in and cannot escape, it must be unlocked from the outside. That would play havoc with my claustrophobia!

The Submarine lost contact an hour and forty-five minutes after it went into the water, thankfully there is still enough emergency oxygen, with them if they keep calm, and do not panic. We talked about if they don’t make, that they wouldn’t die by drowning but lack of air.

We then talked about the Chilean miners, and the predicament they were in, and they all came out alive. I also remembered the Thai cave rescue boys.

I think of the men down there deep in the water, and their families who will all be very worried for them. The tiny submarine is like a drop in the ocean.

I Do hope they are found very soon, safe, and well. x
