Tights.

Around this time of year, I always stock up on buying tights, whenever I see them in a shop that sells them.
I have learnt to only buy extra-large; I am always hopeful and expectant, that they will fit.
As with clothes sizes, they are often hit and miss.
I bought one recently from TKMaxx extra-large, and it was SO tiny, I thought it was going to rip as I put it on, it didn’t but at the end of the day, wearing it for just one day, my fine knitted tights had a hole at the toe! I was disappointed. Was hoping to get more wear out of it, than that.
Another pair of tights I bought from Dunelm, these too were thermals, and extra-large, after the first time wearing them, they were covered in white bits from my thin jumper that I had worn to start of the layers of clothing. So, I was not happy with that.
This morning I opened a new pack of a pack of three, again extra-large tights from Wilko. It was SO long, before I had even tried it on, it touched the floor and came to just underneath my chin! I thought, maybe they are for someone who is 7ft tall and 6” wide. But surprise, surprise, like Goldie Locks and The Three Bears, they were just right. They are not too long once they are on, and hasn’t got any bits, attached to it, and although, they are not thermals, they have kept me warm.
I may go back, and get another pack of three. I hope they do some in gray.
