Trying Not To Be A Statistics.

About five years ago in the TKMaxx sale I bought a lovely pair of mittens, but theses were no ordinary mittens, no these mittens are from Sweeden!
They had a distinctive zig zag pattern at the wrist and were fully lined. The outside, they are knitted with wool. Also at the wrist they have a cute little plats.
They are called Borjesson. They are my very special mittens. All year they are kep safe in the top drawer in my bedroom. This week they came out of the drawer because it snowed and was very cold.
I went into a superstore to buy a few things, I didn't want to hold on to the grubby shopping basket with my nice, new, clean, knitted, posh gloves, so I removed both gloves and held them both in one hand, making sure I could feel both of them by putting my fore finger in the middle of them. I held on to them tightly.
I remembered I didn't want to be a statistics, by losing one of them. We have all seen one tiny mitten around the store or a large expensive leather glove, put on a wall outside, never to be reunited again to its owner.
