UNSEEN.

I remember when I was fourteen, and was reading the book Run Baby Run by Nicky Cruz. There was a word in the book I didn’t understand, it was SOB. I asked a few of my friends, they didn’t know, I asked my school friends they didn’t know either. I asked some of the people from my Church, none of them knew! There was no internet back then, so I couldn’t ask Siri. It wasn’t until decades later, that I found out what SOB meant!

When I was about twenty-four, I was watching a comedy film with my brothers, it was very funny, I thought Richard Pryer and Gene Wilder were saying “Mother tutter.” It didn’t make sense to me either, it wasn’t until about a year later when I was still laughing and talking about the film, did I find out then what they were saying. That was a new word for me.

It was red carpet week in America. It came up on my Facebook, a unknown woman, to me, went on the red carpet, completely naked! She didn’t have stitch on! I am assuming it is just as cold there as it is here in England. The photo of her standing there, as they do for photos, was shocking! I mean usually they stand there, to promote the designer of the gown they have been given for free to promote, but for her, there was nothing to promote.

I read all the comments about this woman and the nothing she wore to the red-carpet event. I thought, usually people have to pay to see nudity but there she is for all the world to see, giving it all away for free. Now that she has worn nothing to this prestigious, event, what will she ‘wear’ next year?

No one had nothing good to say about her husband either. One comment said, “He would have to beat me, to go out like that wearing nothing!” Another said, “He must really hate her, to force her to go out like that.”

There were others who were half naked too, little did they know, when they got to the event, they would be upstaged.

A few days later, the husband lost a twenty-million-dollar deal, for his wife turning up to the event with no clothes on. Another comment said, “I assume he will turn up naked too, to the red carpet, next year.”

After I got out the bath this morning, I stood and thought as I stood there naked, I could not imagine walking out my home like this, and going to a family event where children would be watching, then standing there, with nothing on, not even a smile, while videos would be taken of me and lots of pictures!

Today, a lot of the comments said, “If they were not famous, she would have been arrested for indecent exposure.” Still another comment said, “There should be a dress code, and if the code is broken, no entry!”

Some says, “She is been abused and needs help to escape her crazy husband.”

A famous quote was used, “The Emperor’s new clothes.”    

Bottom line, I have seen this image of this unknown woman, and I can’t un see it!
