Why?

Fairness for Farmers. The people of Dover went through the town centre today to show their Support. My friend brought with her, her Union Jack. It was then she noticed that it was made in China.
It got me thinking again recently, why is everything made in China?
Since I was a child, it was the same. Made in China. It didn’t matter what country I was in, what souvenir, I bought, be it from a Lucky Bag or an expensive item, it was the same.
Some things that looked and felt cheap it was expected. Some things that was awesome, if I found the tag, it was the same, from the same country.
Even my favourite shop, TKMaxx that sells designer clothes, it will say, “Made in China,” Some items will say, where it was designed, but what is the point of that?
It is like ninety five percent of the country is always making something, for rest the world to buy it.
Maybe if I Google it, it will explain way? If China can make it faster and cheaper, and better quality, then that would make complete sense.
If I had my own business, would I give it to the Chinese to make it for me? No, I would not, but my business would not be that big. I would give the business to my trusted friends. But I suppose if I owned a multimillion-pound business, and every penny count, who knows. It seems like the whole world is doing it. It is very rare to see an item that is made in the country of origin.
Something I saw years ago, it made me smile, it was a lovely tattoo on the back of someone’s neck. There was a barcode and the words, to show what the barcode said was the words, “Made in England.” Original and Authentic.

Its a good question! Why is
Its a good question! Why is everything made in China? (and what if they actually did one day invade Taiwan? Where would we get our good from then, particularly as we no longer make them ourselves?) We must be mad, (or very greedy?). I enjoyed your thoughts on this situation!
