Deep Sea Diver

I want to be your deep sea diver, swimming in your love,
Lead me to your treasure from the heavens up above.
I want to be the lifeguard upon whom your life depends,
I want to plumb the depths with you and come up with the bends.
Let me be your octopus with arms surrounding you,
Let me be your conger eel and do what congers do.
You can be my oyster, I'll come and steal your pearl,
I can be your aquaman, you can be my girl.
Come and share my rubber dinghy, floating out to sea,
Come and share my oxygen and breath all over me.
Come and lie upon my surfboard, racing through the water,
Come and be my mermaid, and do what mermaids oughta.
I could be an ocean liner, sailing in the sun,
You could be the engineer who makes my engines run.
We'd sail around the world non stop, our love boat just for two,
You could pull my siren and I'd blow it just for you.
I could be a fisherman, you could be my prey,
I'd chase you with my big harpoon and play with you all day.
We'd end up on a desert island waiting for our fate,
You would be my girl Friday, I would be your mate.
Can I be your shipwreck, you can come exploring,
Can I be your submarine, with my periscope.
Can I be your pirate ship, you can be the driver.
But promise that you'll let me,
Be you deep sea diver.
