In appreciating beauty
before she left this world
she did it in the way she knew best .
Dancing in the light
she almost took flight
like an angel perfect in every way .
Her thoughts and her prayers were spoken
in the dance that she did
and every move she made was surely blest .

just as the spirit moves

She was like a butterfly without any wings
and she danced until the music
was gone ,
love will never die
far beyond the sky
there’s a butterfly
somewhere dancing in the light
where the stars shine so bright
and forever the dance will carry on .

How beautiful it must be
dancing in the light
with the wings of love to carry her
forever more across heaven’s floor
