Evidence Of God
By Paul McCann
The innocence behind a smile ,
the nonsense that goes running wild
Gods love will never disappear
in all I see and all I hear ,
that's the evidence of God for me .
It comes as no surprise to me ,
in all of the things I can see
the colours of all the flowers
and the sparkles of all the stars
that's evidence of God for me .
They’re just like letters of Gods love
that’s falling down from up above .
The softness of pure white snowdrops ,
lying upon the mountain tops
that's evidence of God for me
.
The beauty that is always near
in everything that I hear .
The little birds with their sweet song
in the stillness of early dawn
Is evidence of Gods for me.
.The rumbling of the thunder
and heaven knows I do wonder
with sounds above and underground
and in everything I have found
that's evidence of God for me .
The evidence from up above,
every night and day of His love
All of the wonders I can see
is ever present here with me. .
and that's the evidence for me .
The ideas that come in my head
words from my heart that I have said
tell me that there is something more
and that’s is why I can’t ignore
the evidence of God for me .
.

self-evident
Beautiful poem, subtle, almost complex. Looks like quite an effort. Some people want proof of God's existence, well it is self-evident, you don't need a flashlight to see the sun do you?
Good night Paul! &&
