He Accepted What Was

He sat on the stairs because no one cared for a thing he did .

He slept in the park alone in the dark, the runaway kid .

He walked through the streets for too many weeks trying to survive . .

He did all he could and begged for some food just to stay alive .

He was innocent just like a lamb sent to the slaughter house .

He never complained and always remained as quiet as a mouse .

He prayed everyday and soon found a way to live life anew .     

He had faith because he knew who God was and God pulled him through ..
