Hey , I wake up ,  it’s a new day ,

 and the dark night has gone away

 the birds are singing in the trees

there’s a freedom that’s in the breeze .

 .The song of life begins to play

music is life and life’s okay .

 We write the lyrics everyday 

 of the things we’re trying to say

Its a new day come on get up

Yes, come on, it’s time to get up,

Don't let today just pass on by 

It's a new day for you and I .

Its time for love and time to live’

Feel the warmth , that we’ve got to give

See the light there in the sunrise 

It's always there before our eyes .

Yes ,can’t you see now ,

the sunshine ., 

So come on now ,

get up , it’s time ,

its a new day ,

don't ask me how  

Yeah , it's time  , you can get up now

It’s a new day for you and me  .

Just be happy yeah and , be free ,

be whatever you want to be

it’s a new day for us to see..
