March Of The Easter Bunnies

The wonderful image of an Easter parade is colourful and exciting with floats and marching bands on display as they march along the avenue .
But this story of an Easter parade is not of men in suits or women wearing fancy bonnets .
This is a story about the march of the Easter Bunny .
I want to just remind all of you who may not realise how important it is that we remember and respect that very special soft and furry friend otherwise known as the Easter Bunny . Every year before Easter time comes from deep in their underground bunkers the Easter Bunnies emerge out to the sufarce as if called to do the impossible .
Their work is not easy .
They dare to face the challenge and they go where no bunny has ever gone before . Off they go on a journey in search of the Yummy Birds chocolate eggs .
That is only the first step of the Easter journey as once the eggs are all made the next hurdle facing them is delivering the eggs .
The Easter Bunny has the most important job of bringing home all those chocolate eggs unbroken and in proper order to their owners .
Here is where this journey first begins .
In a place where polar bears and penguins chose not to live the Easter Bunny took up residence .
What propelled them to leave their cosy forests for this desolate landscape still remains a mystery .
Their journey was unique and beautiful .
Imagine if you can the sight of hundreds of thousands of little bunnies with empty baskets on their head marching across a vast bleak landscape of white and wild snow drifts .
Their destination is a place that only the brave bunny can know and there they will go to and when ever of if ever they eventually get there they have no idea how to begin the delicate transfer of chocolate eggs from the castle of the ever clucky and eternally lucky ducky mother of all chocolate laying hens called The Yummy Bird .
The Blizzard Wizard is the proud and protective father of all the eggs and each year stores all the Yummy birds under tight security until the bunnies arrive and take them up in their baskets on the march back to civilsation .
The Easter Bunnies have been given the gift of Easter Tide and are driven by an invisible force onwards to their destination .
Their vocation is a life time commitment and they are empowered by the bonds of maternal responsibility to ensure that the entire inventory of all the Easter eggs are carried and delivered to every corner of the earth .
For centuries the blizzard wizard has never had any reason to be concerned or worried . Never the less he is there to defend and remove any threat to the work of the Yummy Bird and Easter Bunny . .
The Blizzard wizard watches over the march every step of the way .
If ever anything was to stand in the way of the bunnies the wizard would immediately create a break in the weather or a crack in the earth .
Which or whatever was to happen their would be no comebacks .
There would be no complaints or regrets and yet still mothers all over the world take heart and can rejoice at the sight of the Easter Bunnies return .
If you are able to see the hope of Easter when one by one thousands of the eggs begin to hatch and little miracles begin to happen with children smiling and laughing .
March on Easter Bunny .
Not only have you remembered your way back but somehow you have been able to bring joy to all cultures and creeds . Smiles and laughter are displayed on both black and white faces .
That is the call .
That is why the march is so important .
That is the reason the effort is worth it .
Months through the driving wind and snow .
The responsibility we humans have is to keep smiling and remind ourselves about the importance of the hope we have and to use that in our relationships as we march through life .
