In Our Little Karaoke House

In our karaoke house

we like to sing to feel at home .
There are all kinds of bits and pieces here

 that some of us own .
Computers and clocks , pots and pans ,

hidden things in different spots ,
Bits of bling in a jewellery box ,

grandkids stuff from toyshops .
Sheets and towels, shoes and sofas ,

tables and chairs , mats and rugs ,

lamps and jugs , delph  of the shelf ,

ornaments , knives and forks and mugs

but in different places is a karaoke machine ,

with tens of thousands of songs to sing

and we’re living the dream .
Sometimes it’s so good just to sing out

how we feel , yes indeed
life is a song , we have all the lyrics

and that’s all we need .
In our little karaoke house there is a time a place

to come together and start singing in that musical space .
