There’s always two sides to the story ,

there’s always two sides of the road ,

It always hard making choices

when the heart and mind tears you in two ,

it’s not easy to decide what to do

and there’s nowhere to hide I’m telling you

too many loose ends leave us stranded

in a place between family and friends .

Torn in two because of you ,

what ever can I do ,

for I’m Torn in two between things you want

and the things that I want to do .

When you are torn between here and somewhere ,

someone will have to miss out

to compromise half way is ok ,

there’s no need to scream and shout .

Its no good thinking of complaining ,

or explaining the way that you feel

when you’re torn this way and that way ,

your heart it turns round like a wheel.

Between things you want

and the things that I want to do.

The emotions they tend to stretch you

somewhere between the heart and the mind

and if ever you snap on the inside

well here is what you might find ,

You’ll be stuck between a rock and a hard place

with no body standing with you

cause the truth of it is you’re the strong one

even though you’re torn in two
