Transcending In Love

In this life when people get married
they say I do .
When the hard times come
some couples manage to get through .
Like two swans
they swim across the lake of life in love .
But would gladly fly away together high above .
On that Anniversary flight
where they could be as one
with the wind beneath their wings ,
until their journey’s done .
